This annual practice began when in my mid-twenties when I realized that my “to do” list was running my life, instead of being mindful around who I wanted to be. It’s been a long-standing practice of mine at the beginning of each new year to create a list of intentions (rather than resolutions) for who I want to be throughout my year ahead.
